Prof. Dr. Anna Hayduk teaches courses in the areas of international, intercultural and tourism management. She is also the Faculty International Affairs Principal. Anna has a broad international experience of teaching at universities and working in business. Besides Germany she has taught at universities in different European countries, including Poland and Ukraine. Anna has long-term experience with international collaboration and research activities at the University of Manitoba, Canada. As a manager of Unland GmbH (Germany) she has worked in Germany, Russia and Ukraine. Apart from German, she speaks English, Ukrainian, Russian and Polish. Her main research interests are in the area of cross-cultural management and internationalization strategies.
Simon G. Fauser, PhD, is a professor of management and marketing. He specializes in services marketing, project management and management styles. He has been invited to deliver lectures and seminars at a variety of institutions, to both student and executive audiences. He is also the co-director of the Heilbronn Institute for Lifelong Learning (HILL), which offers Bachelor and MBA programs for full-time working professionals in evening and block-schedule formats.
Prof. Dr. Lauren Uğur teaches courses in international management, primarily focused on international tourism planning and development, sustainable business practices and international cooperation. With a diverse education background in international cooperation and development as well as an MBA and PhD in sociology her work is highly inter-disciplinary. Beyond academia, Lauren has gained her diverse experience consulting on numerous international urban planning and development projects.
Prof. Dr. Marcus Wimmer teaches courses in international management, economics and management accounting. Marcus is also the Study Dean at the Faculty for International Business. He gave courses at a number of universities and executive programmes. With a management background in a large multinational company, Marcus has many years of practical experience in international project management. Besides a theoretical background, his courses are practical oriented.
Prof. Dr. Christian Buer has extensive experience in consulting, marketing and development for the lodging and tourism industry. Among others, he managed the development of the famed Hotel Adlon in Berlin and the Renaissance in Atlanta. In 2004, Prof. Dr. Buer was appointed the chair for Hotel Real Estate & Financing at the Heilbronn University and teaches business administration and tourism courses. He also has his own consulting company, Nemis, which advises developers, financers and real estate experts for hotel, catering and leisure industries. Prof. Buer is a member of the Association of Hotel Directors in Germany (HDV) and is active in the strategic advisory board of „Education & Development“. He is also the chairman of the annual Heilbronn Hospitality Symposium.
